Coming North, get off at the 2nd Bolivar exit (TT) and go under the freeway to Aldrich Rd which is the 2nd right. Coming South, again get off at the 2nd Bolivar exit (TT), go to the right and immediately turn right. Mick Shane's
is located between the COUNTRY KITCHEN MOTEL & COMFORT INN.
Come to the back meeting room. INVITE YOUR FRIENDS. RELATIVES,and NEIGHBORS!

With the elections behind us and a new state legislature in
Jeff City and with no more voting going on than there is, it is hard to get really involved. The Missouri Democratic Party says that 1,700 jobs have been lost and Blunt did nothing about it. The House is trying to pass bill
800 that funnels public school money to private and religious schools in order to do away with the public school system. The other bill that needs attention is the one that shuts down Medicaid in June 2008. The funding
of private & religious schools is against the Missouri Constitution and shutting down Medicaid is just plain mean & wrong!

DFA Training
At this meeting, Phyllis Sheaks, our member from Cass County, will have information on Democracy for America (Old Dean for America) training which will be held in Columbia the 2nd weekend of April. (14th & 15th)
We encourage all of our members to take advantage of this training for activists in the Democratic Party. We can carpool and go to the training together.

FOOD For St. Clair Co. Pantry
At the March meeting we will collect food and or monies for the food pantry in St. Clair Co.

HIGHWAY Clean up
We will set dates to cleanup Hwy #13 at Osceola and Hwy #32 at the Polk/Dallas Co line at this meeting.

JACKSON DAYS
We have tickets for the breakfast at Jackson Days on Saturday, March 31st. at 8:00.a.m. at the Clarion Hotel. The PAC will also have a booth Friday nite and Saturday, so if you can help with the booth, please volunteer.

WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO VOTE
At this meeting we will have the essays from our 2007 contest. We will be judging the essays on March 18th in the afternoon.

FUND RAISERS FOR 2007
We will appoint a committee to plan a couple of fund raisers for 2007.
Please have some suggestions.
