The South Grand River Watershed Alliance is hosting a "Let's Get Acquainted" Open House on Thursday, March 29 at the Lions Community Center (500 Schug Ave., Peculiar) at 7:00 p.m. Don't miss this opportunity to learn how state and federal agencies and local organizations are involved in the protection of our essential resource - WATER. Attending will be representatives from the Cass Co. Soil & Water Conservation District, Little Blue River Watershed Coalition, Missouri Department of Conservation, Missouri Stream Teams, Quails Unlimited, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and FEMA. Everyone is invited to attend, learn about the Watershed Alliance, and speak with agencies and organizations involved in this important project.
