DEMOCRAT VOLUNTEER EVENT & FOOD, SATURDAY, AUGUST 16
There will be a democratic volunteer event on August 16th at 4:00 pm at the home of George Roady and Toni Lee Gould, 7400 E. Poney Creek Road, Freeman (816-899-2126). The specific purpose is to sign up volunteers for the many tasks involved in the general campaign, do a little bonding, have a little fun and eat George's great food. Please RSVP if you can so we have some idea of how much great food to cook. Also bring your calendars. It is very important that we are all on the same page so we can maximize our efforts. This is the most important election of the new millennium. Don't be afraid to come because you think you don't have that much time to give. If you can just make five phone calls or pass out ten bumper stickers or talk to three of your neighbors, please come! Each small step we take in the next three months will help decide the fate of our state, our country and our constitution. It really is that important. We hope to see you.
