CASS CO. DEMOCRATIC HEADQUARTERS NOW OPEN -
. CASS CO. DEMOCRATIC HEADQUARTERS VOLUNTEER STAFFERS NEEDED
The Cass Co. Democratic Headquarters is located at 1708 N. Commercial in Harrisonville. If you would like to volunteer to staff the headquarters (and we definitely need you, especially on Mondays), we are now scheduling for September (hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm). Even if you can only donate a few hours of your time, we'd love to have you. SEPTEMBER 18-20
The Cass Co. Central Democratic Committee will have a booth at the Raymore Festival being held September 18-20. If you would like to volunteer to staff the booth, please contact Sharon Shores at shoress@fairpoint.net or call her at 816-779-5061.

DOOR KNOCKING
If you have some spare time, especially in the evenings and/or weekends, we have a group of super candidates who would welcome your help by knocking on doors throughout the county. You can sign up as a general volunteer or choose a specific campaign to help, even if it's only for a few hours. For more information or for a list of candidates, please email cassdemocrats@aol.com. PHONE BANK CAPTAIN
We also need a Phone Bank Captain. This person will be in charge of finding volunteers to make phone calls, opening and closing the headquarters while phone banks are in session, coordinating with Kevin Stamps (from the Missouri Coordinated Campaign) and the Headquarters Captain on the days and times of the phone banks. This should be someone who also doesn't mind pitching to make calls when volunteers fall short (which we hope never happens). Phones should be installed hopefully this week and we hope to be going full strength throughout the campaign season.

WE ALSO NEED VOLUNTEERS FOR PHONE BANKS
The 2008 campaigns are now in full swing and phone banks are up and running every Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings from 5:00 to 9:00 pm. at the Harrisonville Headquarters, 1708 N. Commercial in Harrisonville. We need dedicated volunteers to make phone calls to ID voters for the 2008 campaign. If you have any free time on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday evenings, we can use you. Shifts will run from 5:00-7:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m., If you can donate two hours for phone banking, we would certainly appreciate hearing from you. BRING YOUR RECYCLE TO THE DEMOCRATIC HEADQUARTERS - HELP RAISE $$ FOR DEMOCRATS
We have an Abitibi paper recycling dumpster set up in front of the Democrat headquarters. Any money we make from this dumpster will depend on how much paper is put in it - so start saving. They want mail, newspapers, catalogs, magazines, office paper, etc., but no phone books, cardboard or paperboard. Just bring your recycle materials with you when you visit the headquarters and help raise Dollars for Democrats while keeping paper products out of our landfills.
