This month's Wyandotte County Third Saturday Democratic Breakfast meets Saturday, September 15 at The Woodlands, 9700 Leavenworth Road. Our speakers for this month will be former Congressman Dr. Bill Roy and Kansas Alcoholic Beverage Control Director Tom Groneman
Dr. Roy was a congressman from 1971 to 1975, representing the Kansas Second District, which included the western half of Wyandotte County at the time. Tom has been the Kansas Alcoholic Beverage Control Director for the past five years. He served as Wyandotte County Register of Deeds for 28 years.
The Cass Co. Central Democratic Committee will have a float in the Freeman Parade on Saturday, September 15. Line-up begins at 10:00, parade begins at 11:00. All are welcome to participate. Please feel welcome to come help assemble and ride on the float.
