The weekend of June 27-28 is the return of the KCK Street Blues Festival, at a new location this year. The festival will be held at 13th and State Avenue and admission is free. KCK residents Millage Gilbert, Blue 88, and Lonesome Hank will be performing, along with several other area and touring musicians. This year's Living History Tribute Show features Myra Taylor, who is the queen of the 2008 fest.

Stage performances will be from 6-10 pm on Friday night and 1-10 pm on Saturday. Lawnchairs and coolers are welcome and concessions will be available.

COFFEE WITH KRISTI, SATURDAY, JUNE 28
The Cass Co. Democratic Women's Club will host Kristi Kenney, candidate for 120th District State Representative for a Coffee at BJ's Diner in Archie, Saturday, June 28, from 7:30 to 9:00 am. Take Highway 71 to the Archie exit, turn east to the first intersection, then turn north. BJ's Diner will be on your left. Come visit with Kristi and enjoy a hot cup of brew.
