CASS COUNTY RECYCLING PROJECT Volunteers are still needed for the Cass County Sustainability Recycling Program, especially for Peculiar. Call Doris at 816-779-6708 if you have four hours on a Saturday or Sunday to help out. It's a lot of fun meeting and talking with avid recyclers in these communities while helping to keep recyclables out of our landfills. Join an enthusiastic bunch and help spread the word. You can find the schedule at their website: www.casscountysustainability.com. Recycling: Make it second nature.
No Coffee Next Week
I am afraid, for the first time in a year and a half, I am going to have to cancel next weekend's "Coffee with Cleaver." This would have been our 19th month in a row of coming to your neighborhoods to talk through the issues of the day. My apologies.
Speaker Pelosi has asked me to join her on a trip to Greenland, Brussels and Great Britain, where we will meet with the new Prime Minister. It is an honor to be asked to represent the Congress on this trip and I am anxious to see first hand the receding ice sheet in Greenland.

Now is our chance to hear it from the candidates, and give them our thoughts about what needs doing. This is what you might call "getting in on the ground floor!"
Don't forget to bring some pantry items for West Central Community Action Agency. They put all contributions to very good us.
