Come out and support Cathy Hilliard in Branson, Missouri. TWO bands--Chico Vega & DeDe of the legendary Drifters, who rose to fame with the single "Under the Boardwalk," and opening for them in the outdoor concert venue will be Death May Die, a hometown favorite! This is an all ages event with door prizes, friends, and fun!

We invite all of you to bring a friend to the next meeting on August 2 when our featured speakers will be Missouri assistant house minority leader Paul LeVota, and Missouri’s fifth district congressman The Honorable Reverend Emanuel Cleaver. If you've never heard Reverend Cleaver live, you won't want to miss this treat.

As always, our meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at Californos 4124 Pennsylvania in Westport at 7:00 pm. Be sure to come early for "Drinking Liberally", the progressive social event before the big meeting. Drinking Liberally starts at 5:30, upstairs in the bar.

Our July 5th meeting will be at 7:00 PM at Californos, 4124 Pennsylvania in Kansas City. The Political Committee has received questionnaire responses from many of the candidates we have heard in the past few months. We will share their responses and vote for those we want to formally endorse. NOTE: Only those who had dues paid by the June 7th meeting will be able to vote.

We will also share news about projects in progress for the next few months. Stay tuned for developing news!
