“GOOD OLD-FASHIONED CAMPAIGN WALK"

Suggestions: Comfortable shoes, casual dress, water bottle, hat (Please: no sun glasses while you are walking)

Schedule:
10am: Check in, receive materials/kit
10:15: What do I do? explained.
10:30: Questions answered.
10:45: Leave for walk areas in district.
11am: Walk and have fun.
1pm (approx.) return for refreshments, turn in materials

Directions: From Shawnee Mission Parkway:   Go North on Neosho.  (Between Mission Road and Roe Ave.)  Pass 2 stop signs (Neosho will jog a bit)  1 block farther North, bear LEFT onto Parish Drive.   We are about 2 blocks north on left hand side.   Brick ranch, big spruce tree, railroad switch stand and lantern.
From I-35:   Exit 232 (18th St. Expressway, Roe Ave.)   Go South on Roe, get in left lane.   At top of hill turn LEFT onto 48th St. (Burger King).  Go to bottom of hill, turn RIGHT onto Roe Lane.   Go 1 block South on Roe Lane, Turn LEFT onto Elledge.  Go 3 or so blocks East on Elledge to crosswalk light, Turn RIGHT onto Parish Drive.   We are about 2 blocks South on Parish - brick ranch, big spruce, railroad switch stand with lantern.  If the Basset barks, you are there.
